Our company, Ingredalia, has been recognised at the Expansión Startup Awards 2020 as the 2nd best new company in the Food Agrotech category.
During the awards ceremony, held on 3 December in Barcelona, with a jury made up of Iñaki Ortega, Director of Deusto Business School; Antonio Durán, Head and Innovation Coordinator at Grupo Abertis; Javier Jiménez, Managing Director of Lanzadera; Inés Rovira, Director of Territorial Partnerships and Forum at the Instituto de la Empresa Familiar (IEF); David Parra, CEO of Leyton Iberia; and Miguel Vicente, President of Barcelona Tech City; Ingredalia, through our CEO Miguel Ángel Cubero, stated that this award is a recognition of entrepreneurship and the commitment to new technologies, as well as the effort made in recent years to make this company a reality and thereby improve both human and animal nutrition.
We are currently focused on the industrialisation and market launch of our first two products which, obtained from broccoli, make it possible to offer the market all the benefits of its consumption. Thus, Sulforaphan-Smart is a functional ingredient aimed at strengthening people’s immune system, while Brasphenol is a natural antioxidant that extends the shelf life of foods.
